The ACCUPRO 14556356 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining applications. With a 1/8 inch diameter and a 0.01 inch corner radius, this single-end, centercutting tool produces controlled edge blends and reduces stress concentrations at part corners. The 4-flute, right-hand spiral geometry with a 40-degree helix promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth surface finishes. An AlTiN+ coating adds thermal resistance and hardness, making this end mill well-suited for cutting hardened steels, stainless, and other demanding materials. It is manufactured from micrograin solid carbide for dimensional stability and wear resistance in high-speed applications.
This end mill fits standard CNC machining centers and manual mills wherever a 1/8 inch straight-cylindrical shank is accepted. The 1/2 inch length of cut and 1-1/2 inch overall length make it appropriate for shallow-to-moderate depth profiling, slotting, and contouring in dies, molds, and precision components. The corner radius geometry is particularly useful when a sharp inside corner must be avoided for stress-relief or part design requirements. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals working in production and job-shop environments are the primary users of this tool.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers, vertical mills, and similar equipment accepting a 1/8 inch straight-cylindrical shank. Part of the ACCUPRO Series 6/44 end mill family.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician familiar with end mill holders and collet systems. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool changer or quill is locked before inserting or removing the end mill. Verify runout at the shank before initiating a cut, as excessive runout will accelerate tool wear and degrade surface finish. Follow the machine tool manufacturer and cutting tool manufacturer guidelines for speeds, feeds, and depth of cut for the specific workpiece material.
