The ACCUPRO 14505808 is a 4-flute solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. It carries a mill diameter of 0.1563 inches (5/32 inch) and an overall length of 2 inches, with a 1/2-inch length of cut. The AlTiN+ coating provides high-temperature oxidation resistance and extended tool life in demanding cutting environments. A 40-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. This tool is intended for use by machinists, toolroom operators, and CNC programmers working in production or job-shop settings.
This end mill is suited for slotting, profiling, and finishing operations in materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and high-temperature alloys where a tight-tolerance, small-diameter tool is required. The centercutting geometry allows plunge entry, adding versatility for pocketing and ramp operations. The straight cylindrical shank accepts standard collet chucks and end mill holders with a 3/16-inch bore. It belongs to ACCUPRO Series 6/44, which targets general-purpose and finish milling at regular length-of-cut configurations.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use solid carbide end mill for CNC machining centers and manual mills equipped with 3/16-inch bore collet chucks or end mill holders accepting straight cylindrical shanks.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator with the spindle fully stopped and machine in an e-stop or locked-out state. Seat the shank fully into the collet or holder and torque the retention hardware to the toolholder specification before initiating any cut. Verify runout with a dial indicator before production use, as small-diameter carbide end mills are sensitive to holder concentricity. Do not exceed the recommended depth of cut or feed rate for this tool diameter, as solid carbide is rigid but brittle under lateral overload.
