The ACCUPRO 125965 is a single-end roughing finishing end mill designed for aggressive material removal and finish passes in a single tool. Built from micrograin solid carbide, it delivers the hardness and edge retention needed for demanding milling operations. The 1/2 inch diameter cutter features 3 flutes with a 37-degree helix angle and a bright uncoated finish, making it well suited for aluminum and non-ferrous applications. With a 1-1/8 inch length of cut and a 3 inch overall length, it handles pocketing and profiling operations where reach and rigidity both matter. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals install this end mill on CNC mills and manual milling machines.
This end mill is optimized for pocketing and profiling operations as indicated in the manufacturer application data. The 37-degree helix promotes efficient chip evacuation during both roughing and finishing passes, reducing heat buildup and tool deflection. The 1/2 inch shank diameter fits standard ER collets, end mill holders, and Weldon-style tool holders common in job shops and production environments. Right-hand flute direction and right-hand cutting orientation are standard for conventional CNC milling setups.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement for standard 1/2 inch shank end mill holders, ER collet chucks, and Weldon-style holders used on CNC vertical machining centers and manual knee mills. Part of the ACCUPRO AL Series.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following standard tool change procedures. Power down and lockout the machine spindle before inserting or removing the end mill from any tool holder. Ensure the shank is fully seated to the minimum insertion depth recommended for the holder type in use to prevent pullout under cutting loads. Inspect the tool and holder for runout before beginning a cut, and verify feed and speed parameters match the workpiece material.
