The ACCUPRO 12469015 is a single-end square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining environments. Built from micrograin solid carbide, it delivers rigidity and wear resistance in demanding cutting applications. The tool measures 0.0781 inches (5/64 inches) in cutting diameter with a 0.117-inch length of cut and a 1/8-inch shank diameter, giving it a compact profile suited for fine detail work and tight-tolerance slot milling. The 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation, while the four-flute configuration balances cutting speed with surface finish quality. Installation and use are handled by machinists and tool-and-die professionals operating CNC mills or manual knee mills.
This end mill is suited for light roughing and finishing passes in ferrous and non-ferrous materials where a small-diameter, short-LOC tool is required. The bright/uncoated finish makes it a practical choice for aluminum, brass, and similar non-ferrous workpieces where coating adhesion can be a concern. Its 1.5-inch overall length and 1/8-inch shank fit standard collet and end mill holder systems commonly found in production and tool room environments. Right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction are standard for conventional CNC and manual milling setups.
Designed for use with standard 1/8-inch collets and end mill holders on CNC machining centers and manual milling machines. Part of the ACCUPRO ASQSC4-CC-30H series of fractional-inch solid carbide square end mills.
Installation is performed by a machinist or CNC operator. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down or placed in an e-stop state before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the collet or end mill holder and torque the retention mechanism according to the toolholder manufacturer specifications. Verify runout with a dial indicator after clamping before commencing a cut.
