The ACCUPRO 12464536 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining environments. With a 5/64 inch (0.0781 inch decimal) mill diameter and a 0.117 inch length of cut, this single-end tool is built for tight-tolerance work in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The micrograin carbide construction provides hardness and edge retention well beyond high-speed steel alternatives. A 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation while reducing cutting forces. The bright, uncoated finish makes it well suited for non-ferrous metals and plastics where coating adhesion or heat buildup is not a primary concern. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals install and operate this tool on CNC machining centers and manual mills.
This end mill is suited for slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling in tight-clearance applications where a small-diameter tool is required. The 1/8 inch shank diameter allows it to seat in standard collets and end mill holders commonly found on vertical machining centers and benchtop CNC mills. The right-hand cut and right-hand flute spiral make it compatible with conventional spindle configurations. Its compact overall length of 1.5 inches limits deflection during aggressive cuts. This tool is installed and operated by machinists and CNC technicians. Power down and lock out the spindle drive before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the collet or end mill holder and torque the retention hardware according to the machine manufacturer's specifications. Verify runout with a dial indicator before commencing a cut, as runout errors are amplified at small diameters and can cause premature tool breakage.
