This miniature series ball end mill suits applications in mold making, die work, medical component machining, and aerospace part production where small radii and tight tolerances are standard requirements. The 0.1950-inch length of cut allows for moderate-depth passes in slotting, profiling, and contouring operations. The 1/8-inch shank diameter fits standard ER collet chucks and miniature end mill holders commonly found in small-part machining setups. It is appropriate for use in both production and prototype environments where dimensional accuracy is critical.

Installation and tool changes must be performed with the machine spindle fully powered down and the control in an e-stop or locked-out state per applicable shop safety procedures. Seat the shank fully into the collet or tool holder and torque the retention system according to the holder manufacturer's specifications. Inspect the cutting edges and coating under magnification before use; carbide tooling is brittle and should never be used if chipping or cracking is visible. Speeds and feeds for AlTiN-coated carbide should be selected based on workpiece material, machine rigidity, and the depth of cut being taken.
