It carries a 0.0160-inch cutting diameter and a 0.0480-inch length of cut (LOC), making it well suited for micro-profiling, slotting, and contouring in die, mold, and precision machining work. The four-flute geometry and 30-degree helix angle promote smooth chip evacuation and stable cutting action at high spindle speeds. An AlTiN coating extends tool life by reducing heat buildup and wear when cutting hardened steels and exotic alloys. This end mill is a single-end tool manufactured from micrograin solid carbide for rigidity and edge retention at small diameters.
