The ACCUPRO 12463835 is a miniature solid carbide ball end mill designed for precision milling operations requiring tight tolerances and fine detail. With a 0.1050-inch cutting diameter and a 0.3150-inch length of cut, this tool is engineered for small-feature profiling, slotting, and contouring in hardened and difficult-to-machine materials. The micrograin carbide construction delivers the rigidity and wear resistance needed to maintain edge integrity at small diameters. A 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation while reducing cutting forces. This end mill is used by machinists and tool-and-die professionals working in CNC milling centers where dimensional accuracy is critical.
This miniature end mill is well suited for applications in mold making, die work, medical component machining, and aerospace part finishing where small-radius features and tight dimensional tolerances are required. The bright, uncoated finish makes it a practical choice for non-ferrous metals, plastics, and certain ferrous alloys where coating interaction is a concern. The 1/8-inch shank diameter fits standard miniature collets and toolholders used in high-speed machining centers and benchtop CNC mills. Right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction are the standard configuration for conventional CNC mill setups.
Designed as an OEM-style miniature ball end mill for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills equipped with standard 1/8-inch collets or toolholders accepting 1/8-inch shank diameters.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist familiar with CNC toolholding and collet systems. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before installing or removing the end mill. Seat the shank fully into the collet to the recommended engagement depth before tightening to prevent runout and tool pullout during cutting. Inspect the cutting edges under magnification before use, as miniature carbide tools are susceptible to chipping if mishandled.
