The ACCUPRO 12462616 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining environments. With a 7/64 inch (0.1100 inch decimal) cutting diameter and a 21/64 inch (0.330 inch decimal) length of cut, this tool is suited for small-feature milling, slotting, and profiling tasks. The 2-flute geometry and 30-degree right-hand spiral helix promote efficient chip evacuation in a variety of materials. Micrograin carbide construction provides the hardness and wear resistance required for demanding cuts. The bright/uncoated finish makes it a straightforward general-purpose choice. Licensed machinists and CNC operators are the primary users of this tool.
This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers, knee mills, and manual milling machines where tight-tolerance, small-diameter cutting is required. The 1/8 inch shank diameter fits standard collets and tool holders common in both production and job-shop environments. Its single-end configuration and 1-1/2 inch overall length make it appropriate for close-clearance cuts and toolpath applications where reach is limited. Right-hand cutting direction suits conventional right-hand spindle setups. The centercutting capability allows plunge milling in addition to peripheral and slot milling.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and general-use square end mill compatible with standard 1/8 inch collets and tool holders used in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC operators. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down before changing tooling. Seat the 1/8 inch shank fully into the collet or tool holder and torque the retention mechanism according to the tool holder manufacturer specifications. Inspect the cutting edges for chipping or wear before each use and replace the end mill if damage is observed.
