The ACCUPRO 12462445 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal fabrication and machining applications. With a 0.058-inch cutting diameter and a 0.174-inch length of cut, this tool is built for fine-detail work in tight geometries and small-part machining. The two-flute spiral design with a 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. Micrograin carbide construction provides the rigidity and edge retention required for demanding materials. The bright, uncoated finish makes it well-suited for non-ferrous metals and plastics where coating adhesion is not required.
This end mill fits standard CNC machining centers, vertical mills, and manual milling machines equipped with a 0.125-inch (1/8-inch) collet or chuck. At 1.5 inches overall length with a 0.125-inch shank diameter, it is sized for small-part work, engraving paths, slotting, and profiling where a larger diameter tool cannot reach. The centercutting capability allows plunge entry into the workpiece, expanding its utility in complex toolpath operations. Typical users include machinists, tool-and-die makers, and precision fabricators working in job shop or production environments.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use solid carbide square end mill compatible with any milling machine or machining center accepting a 0.125-inch (1/8-inch) shank diameter collet or toolholder.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Ensure the machine spindle is fully powered down and at rest before loading or changing tooling. Secure the shank in a properly sized collet or end mill holder to the torque specifications recommended by the toolholder manufacturer, and verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a cut. Follow applicable shop safety procedures and machine guarding requirements when operating milling equipment.
