The ACCUPRO 12462357 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in metalworking and machining applications. With a 1/32 inch (0.031 inch) cutting diameter and a 0.093 inch length of cut, this tool is built for tight-tolerance work in small-bore and detail-milling operations. The micrograin carbide construction provides rigidity and edge retention in demanding cuts. A 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and reduces cutting forces. The bright, uncoated finish makes this end mill well-suited for non-ferrous metals and plastics where coating buildup can be a concern. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals are the primary users.
This end mill fits residential and commercial machine shop environments, CNC machining centers, and manual milling machines requiring small-diameter tooling. The 1/8 inch shank diameter allows direct mounting in standard collets and tool holders sized for that diameter. With a 1-1/2 inch overall length and regular-length classification, it seats securely with minimal overhang. The single-end configuration means the tool is replaced rather than flipped when the cutting edge is worn. Right-hand cut and right-hand flute direction are the standard orientation for conventional CNC and manual vertical mill setups.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use solid carbide square end mill for CNC machining centers and manual mills equipped with collets or tool holders accepting a 1/8 inch shank diameter.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC setup technicians. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before changing tooling. Seat the 1/8 inch shank fully into the collet or tool holder to the recommended insertion depth per the holder manufacturer before tightening. Inspect the cutting edges under magnification before use; solid carbide end mills at this diameter are brittle and can chip if mishandled or dropped.
