The ACCUPRO 12277084 is a single-end, square-profile solid carbide end mill designed for precision milling operations in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The cutting diameter measures 0.075 inches with a length of cut of 0.112 inches and a 0.125-inch shank diameter. Overall length is 1.5 inches. The four-flute, right-hand spiral geometry with a 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action in tight-tolerance work. Micrograin carbide construction provides the hardness and wear resistance required for high-speed machining in tool steels, aluminum, and engineering plastics. This tool is suited for machinists and toolmakers running CNC mills or manual knee mills where small-diameter, fine-detail work is required.
This end mill is well suited to close-tolerance slot milling, profile work, and pocket operations in small-part machining environments. The bright uncoated finish makes it a practical choice for aluminum and other non-ferrous materials where coating adhesion or built-up edge can be a concern. The centercutting design allows direct plunge entry, expanding its use in contouring and 3D surfacing applications. Typical installations are found in precision machine shops, mold and die work, and aerospace or medical component manufacturing where small-diameter cutting tools are standard.
Designed for use in standard end mill holders and ER collet chucks accepting a 0.125-inch shank diameter. Part of the ACCUPRO ASQSC4-CC-30H series of solid carbide square end mills.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist. Secure the shank fully within the collet or end mill holder to the recommended minimum engagement depth before tightening. Verify runout with a dial indicator prior to cutting to protect the small-diameter cutting edge from premature chipping. Always power down and lock out the spindle before changing tooling, and confirm correct cutting direction in the machine control before initiating a cut.
