The ACCUPRO 12276922 is a miniature solid carbide ball end mill designed for precision milling of small features, contoured surfaces, and tight-tolerance slots. Built from micrograin solid carbide, this single-end tool delivers rigidity and wear resistance in demanding cutting applications. It runs a 0.0290 inch cutting diameter with a 0.0870 inch length of cut and a 30-degree helix angle that promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. The bright, uncoated finish makes it well suited for use in non-ferrous metals, plastics, and other materials where coating adhesion is not required. Machinists and toolroom operators working on CNC machining centers and manual mills use this tool for finish profiling and die work.
This miniature end mill is intended for precision machining applications where small-diameter tooling is required. Typical uses include mold and die work, prototype machining, and fine-detail contouring on CNC machining centers. The 1/8 inch shank diameter fits standard collet systems commonly found in vertical machining centers and high-speed spindles. The single-end design and right-hand cutting and flute direction are standard for conventional and climb milling operations in a professional shop environment.
Designed as an OEM-style miniature ball end mill for use in standard 1/8 inch collet systems on CNC machining centers, high-speed spindles, and manual vertical mills requiring small-diameter tooling.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom professional. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before inserting or removing the tool. Seat the 1/8 inch shank fully into the collet and torque the collet nut to the spindle manufacturer specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning the cut, as excessive runout will reduce tool life and compromise dimensional accuracy on small-diameter carbide end mills.
