The ACCUPRO 12276797 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for high-precision milling in metalworking and machining applications. With a 0.02-inch cutting diameter and a 0.06-inch length of cut, this tool is built for fine detail work and tight-tolerance operations in hardened and abrasive materials. The micrograin carbide construction provides the rigidity and wear resistance needed for consistent performance at small diameters. Four flutes and a 30-degree right-hand helix promote efficient chip evacuation while maintaining a smooth, accurate cut. The bright, uncoated finish is suitable for a range of general-purpose milling tasks. Licensed machinists and CNC tooling technicians are the primary installers and operators.
This end mill is well suited for finish milling, slotting, and profiling in small-scale or precision CNC machining environments. Its 1/8-inch shank diameter fits standard collet and end mill holder configurations used on vertical machining centers and CNC mills. The 0.02-inch diameter makes it particularly applicable for micro-milling, engraving, die work, and detailed contouring where larger tooling cannot access the feature geometry. It is centercutting, allowing plunge entry into the workpiece when the operation requires it.
Designed as a standard replacement or production end mill for CNC machining centers and manual mills equipped with 1/8-inch collets or end mill holders. Shank diameter tolerance is minus 0.0001 to minus 0.0003 inch for a controlled fit in precision toolholding systems.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC tooling technician. Always power down and lock out the spindle before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the collet or end mill holder to the recommended engagement depth before tightening. Inspect the tool for chipping or runout before initiating a cut, as small-diameter carbide end mills are sensitive to improper seating and excessive overhang.
