The ACCUPRO 12276784 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precise milling operations in demanding machining environments. With a 0.007-inch cutting diameter and a 0.021-inch length of cut, this tool is built for micro-machining applications where tight tolerances and fine detail are required. The four-flute configuration promotes efficient chip evacuation while maintaining rigidity in the cut. Constructed from micrograin solid carbide, it delivers the hardness and wear resistance needed for high-speed work in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The bright uncoated finish suits applications where coating adhesion or contamination is a concern.
This end mill is suited for precision machining in tool-and-die, mold making, medical device manufacturing, and electronics fabrication. Its micro diameter makes it appropriate for engraving, slotting, and contouring fine features in small workpieces. The 1/8-inch shank diameter allows it to seat in standard collet chucks or micro tool holders found on CNC machining centers and high-speed spindles. Right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction are standard for conventional CNC milling setups. Single-end configuration means the tool is replaced rather than flipped when worn.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers and high-speed spindles accepting a 1/8-inch shank diameter collet or tool holder. Suitable for right-hand cutting applications in standard vertical and horizontal milling setups.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Ensure the spindle is fully powered down and the machine is in a safe state before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the collet to the recommended engagement depth and torque the collet nut according to the tool holder manufacturer specifications. At micro diameters, runout control is critical — verify TIR with a test indicator before commencing a production cut.
