The ACCUPRO 12185426 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for both roughing and finishing operations in a single tool. With a 5/16 inch cutting diameter and four flutes arranged at a 40-degree helix angle, it removes material aggressively while still producing an acceptable finish pass. The chipbreaker geometry along the flute length reduces cutting forces and helps evacuate chips during heavy stock removal. At 3 inches overall length with a 1-1/8 inch length of cut, this is a long-length configuration suited to reaching into deeper pockets or stepped features.
