The ACCUPRO 12185355 is a solid carbide ball end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal, composites, and hard materials. This double-end tool features a 0.1094-inch (7/64 inch) mill diameter with a 0.1875-inch length of cut, a 40-degree helix angle, and four flutes in a right-hand spiral configuration. The uncoated solid carbide construction provides rigidity and edge retention in demanding cutting applications. At 1.5 inches overall length with a 0.125-inch shank diameter, this stub-length end mill is suited for tight-clearance work where tool deflection must be minimized. Machinists and toolroom professionals select this geometry for profiling, slotting, and contouring passes.
This ball end mill is used in CNC machining centers and manual mills across job shops, tool-and-die operations, and production environments. The stub-length classification makes it appropriate for shallow-cavity milling and finish-profiling work where a shorter reach reduces vibration. The double-end design provides a second usable cutting end, extending tool life between change-outs. Right-hand cutting direction is standard for conventional spindle setups. Typical materials include alloy steels, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, and engineering plastics.
Designed for use in standard CNC or manual milling machines accepting a 0.125-inch (1/8 inch) round shank. Suitable as a direct replacement for 7/64-inch diameter, 4-flute solid carbide ball end mills with matching geometry.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following the machine tool manufacturer guidelines. Secure the shank firmly in a collet or end mill holder rated for the shank diameter before operation. Verify spindle speed and feed rate are appropriate for the workpiece material and tool diameter before engaging the cut. Inspect both cutting ends for chipping or wear before use.
