The ACCUPRO 12185337 is a solid carbide ball end mill designed for precision milling operations in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. With a 0.0938-inch (3/32-inch) mill diameter and a 0.1875-inch (3/16-inch) length of cut, this tool is built for tight-tolerance profiling, contouring, and slotting in confined geometries. The 40-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. Four flutes provide a balance of chip clearance and cutting edge strength suited to finish and semi-finish passes. Machinists and tool room operators use this end mill in CNC machining centers and manual mills where small-diameter, high-precision work is required.
This is a double-end stub-length ball end mill with a 1/8-inch shank diameter and a 1.5-inch overall length. The stub-length configuration maximizes rigidity, making it appropriate for shallow-depth contouring and profiling passes where deflection control is critical. Right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction match standard spindle rotation on the vast majority of CNC and manual vertical mills. The uncoated carbide substrate suits applications where coating compatibility with the workpiece material or cutting fluid is a consideration, or where re-sharpening is planned.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills accepting a 1/8-inch straight shank. Suitable for right-hand spindle rotation applications requiring a small-diameter ball end mill with a 3/16-inch depth of cut capacity.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following standard toolroom practices. Secure the 1/8-inch shank in a collet or end mill holder rated for the shank diameter, ensuring adequate grip length to prevent pullout under cutting loads. Verify spindle direction is set to right-hand rotation before engaging the cut. Inspect both cutting ends for chips or damage before use and handle solid carbide tooling carefully to avoid edge chipping.
