The ACCUPRO 12185066 is a double-end, square-profile solid carbide end mill designed for precision milling in metalworking and machining applications. With a 3/32 inch (0.0938 inch) mill diameter and a 30-degree helix angle, this tool delivers efficient chip evacuation and stable cutting performance in tight-tolerance work. The TiCN coating provides enhanced surface hardness and wear resistance compared to uncoated carbide. The micrograin carbide substrate supports fine-pitch work and extended tool life. Licensed machinists and CNC operators working on close-tolerance features in ferrous and non-ferrous materials will find this tool well-suited for slotting, profiling, and plunge-entry operations.
This stub-length end mill is used in vertical machining centers, CNC knee mills, and manual milling machines where compact tooling and rigid setups are required. Its double-end design provides a second usable cutting end, extending service life between tool changes. The centercutting geometry allows direct plunge entry without a pre-drilled pilot hole. Typical applications include mold work, die work, small-part machining, and intricate slot or pocket milling in production or toolroom environments.
Designed as a standard replacement or production tooling option for CNC and manual milling machines accepting a 1/8 inch straight shank, stub-length end mills with square end geometry.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists using an appropriate collet or end mill holder rated for the 1/8 inch shank diameter. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down before changing tooling. Verify collet runout and tool projection before beginning a cut, as excessive overhang beyond the listed overall length will reduce rigidity. Follow shop safety protocols and machine tool manufacturer guidelines for RPM and feed rate selection based on material and cutting diameter.
