The ACCUPRO 12185026 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal, composites, and other hard materials. Built from micrograin carbide, it delivers consistent cutting performance and edge retention across a wide range of machining applications. The double-end configuration provides two usable cutting ends, extending tool life and reducing cost per cut. Key geometry includes a 40-degree helix angle, right-hand cut, right-hand spiral flute, and a centercutting design that allows plunge entry. Cutting diameter is 0.1875 inches with a 0.5000-inch length of cut and a 0.3750-inch shank diameter.
This end mill is suited for CNC machining centers, manual knee mills, and toolroom operations handling ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The regular length and 3-inch overall length make it appropriate for standard-depth pocketing, slotting, and profiling work. The uncoated finish is well matched to applications where cutting fluid or light dry cutting is used on softer steels, aluminum alloys, and similar materials. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals are the primary installers and operators of this tooling.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct substitute for standard 3/8-inch shank square end mills used in CNC machining centers, toolroom mills, and similar equipment requiring a 3/16-inch diameter, double-end, solid carbide tool.
This end mill is installed and operated by machinists or toolroom professionals using appropriate collet chucks or end mill holders sized to accept a 0.3750-inch shank. Ensure the spindle and all axes are fully stopped and machine power is off before changing tooling. Verify shank seating depth and runout with a dial indicator before beginning a cut. Follow the machine manufacturer and tooling supplier guidelines for speeds, feeds, and depth of cut appropriate to the workpiece material.
