The ACCUPRO 12184583 is a single-end ball end mill designed for precise contour milling, profiling, and 3D surface work in CNC machining centers and manual mills. Built from micrograin solid carbide, it delivers the rigidity and edge retention needed for harder workpiece materials and demanding cutting conditions. The mill measures 0.1563 inches in diameter with a 0.5-inch length of cut and a 2-inch overall length. The 40-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. Four flutes provide a good balance of chip clearance and surface finish. This tool is installed and operated by machinists and CNC programmers in job shops, production facilities, and tool rooms.
This ball end mill is suited for small-feature profiling, cavity work, and finishing passes in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Inspect the cutting edges and shank for chips or damage before each use, and verify runout with a dial indicator when tolerance-critical work is planned.
