The ACCUPRO 12184449 is a solid carbide ball end mill designed for precision milling in metal and composite materials. It features a 0.5 inch diameter with a 2 inch length of cut, making it well suited for deep-cavity profiling and contouring operations. The three-flute geometry with a 40-degree right-hand helix provides an efficient balance of chip evacuation and surface finish quality. A TiCN coating increases surface hardness and reduces friction, extending tool life in demanding ferrous and non-ferrous applications. This tool is a single-end design with a 0.5 inch shank diameter and a 4 inch overall length, giving machinists extended reach for deeper part features.
This ball end mill is used in CNC machining centers for 3D contouring, die and mold work, and profile milling where a full-radius cutting edge is required. The long-length configuration suits applications where standard-length tools cannot reach the full depth of a workpiece pocket or cavity.
