The ACCUPRO 12183932 is a single-end ball end mill machined from solid micrograin carbide. It features a 0.1563-inch (5/32-inch) cutting diameter with a 0.5-inch length of cut, a 3/16-inch shank diameter, and a 2-inch overall length. The 2-flute configuration and 40-degree right-hand helix promote efficient chip evacuation in a wide range of milling operations. The uncoated micrograin carbide substrate provides hardness and edge retention suitable for precision profiling, slotting, and contouring work on ferrous and non-ferrous materials. This tool is installed and operated by CNC machinists and tool-and-die professionals on vertical machining centers and CNC mills.
This ball end mill is suited for finish profiling, 3D contouring, and detail work where a small-diameter tool is required. The ball nose geometry produces smooth curved surfaces and radii in molds, dies, and precision components. Its compact 0.1563-inch diameter makes it appropriate for fine-detail passes in tight geometries. Right-hand spiral flutes support standard climb or conventional milling strategies on common CNC machining center setups.

Installation is performed by a qualified CNC machinist or toolroom operator. Secure the shank in a clean, properly sized collet or end mill holder and torque to the toolholder manufacturer specification before operation. Inspect the cutting edges and shank for chips or runout before mounting. Follow all machine guarding and lockout procedures per shop safety standards before changing tooling.
