The ACCUPRO 12183904 is a solid carbide ball end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining applications. With a 0.0625 inch cutting diameter and a 0.1875 inch length of cut, this single-end tool is built for fine-detail work in tight geometries and contoured surfaces. The 2-flute spiral configuration paired with a 40-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. An AlTiN coating adds heat resistance and surface hardness, making this end mill well-suited for dry or high-speed cutting in ferrous and hardened materials. Micrograin carbide substrate supports edge retention under demanding conditions. Qualified machinists and CNC operators are the primary users of this tool.
This ball end mill is used in CNC machining centers and manual mills for slotting, profiling, and 3D contouring in ferrous metals, stainless steel, titanium, and other hard materials. The 0.0625 inch diameter makes it appropriate for fine-feature work such as small-radius pockets, die cavities, and detailed part geometry. The 1/8 inch shank diameter fits standard collet chucks commonly found in both vertical and horizontal machining setups. The single-end design is standard for general-purpose CNC tooling applications.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard tooling option for CNC machining centers and manual mills accepting a 1/8 inch shank diameter collet or end mill holder.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC setup technicians. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool changer or collet system is de-energized before inserting or removing the tool. Secure the 1/8 inch shank fully into the collet to the recommended gauge line to prevent runout and tool pullout during operation. Verify spindle speed and feed rate parameters are appropriate for the workpiece material before initiating the cut.
