The ACCUPRO 12183719 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal cutting and machining applications. It features a 1/2 inch mill diameter with a 1/8 inch corner radius and a 1-1/2 inch length of cut, giving machinists the geometry needed to produce radiused inside corners and blend surfaces without secondary operations. The 40-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. With a bright/uncoated finish and micrograin carbide construction, this tool is suited for both roughing and finishing passes where edge sharpness and dimensional consistency are priorities. Installation and use are performed by CNC machinists and tool-and-die professionals.
This end mill is built for use in CNC machining centers and manual knee mills where extra-long reach is required to access deep pockets, stepped features, or cavities that standard-length tooling cannot reach. The 6 inch overall length and 1/2 inch shank diameter make it compatible with standard ER and end mill holders used in typical shop setups. It is appropriate for ferrous and non-ferrous materials where a bright/uncoated carbide tool performs reliably. The single-end, centercutting configuration allows plunge entry as well as side milling, expanding its utility across a range of part features.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard tooling option for 1/2 inch end mill holders and collet chucks used in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines requiring a 1/2 inch shank, extra-long reach corner radius end mill.
This tool is installed by qualified machinists or CNC setup technicians. Always power down and lock out the machine spindle before changing tooling. Ensure the shank is fully seated and properly torqued in the tool holder to within the holder manufacturer specifications before running. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or wear before each use, and verify runout at the tool holder prior to production cuts.
