The ACCUPRO 12183629 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding metalworking applications. It features a 3/4-inch diameter, a 2-inch length of cut, and a 1/8-inch (0.1250-inch) corner radius that reduces stress concentration at the cutting edge and extends tool life. The micrograin carbide substrate is coated with AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride), which improves heat resistance and wear performance when cutting hardened steels, stainless alloys, and other abrasive materials. With 4 right-hand spiral flutes, a 40-degree helix angle, and centercutting capability, this end mill handles both slotting and plunge operations. It is installed by machinists and tool-and-die professionals operating CNC machining centers and manual mills.
This end mill is suited for shops running high-speed machining strategies in ferrous and non-ferrous materials where corner integrity and surface finish are critical. The long-length classification, 6-inch overall length, and 3/4-inch shank diameter make it appropriate for applications requiring deeper reach or clearance around workpiece features. Single-end configuration means the tool is replaced rather than reindexed when the cutting end is worn. Typical applications include profiling, contouring, and pocket milling in aerospace, mold-and-die, and general precision machining environments.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard tooling option for CNC machining centers and manual milling machines accepting a 3/4-inch straight shank end mill holder or collet.
Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician. The machine spindle must be fully stopped and the tool changer or spindle lock engaged before installing or removing the end mill. Verify that the holder or collet bore matches the 3/4-inch shank diameter and that runout is within acceptable limits before beginning a cut. Do not exceed the tool manufacturer recommended speeds and feeds for the workpiece material and coating type.
