The ACCUPRO 12183624 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining environments. It features a 3/4-inch diameter, a 2-inch length of cut, and a 0.045-inch corner radius that reduces stress concentration at the cutting edge and extends tool life in demanding materials. The TiCN (Titanium Carbonitride) coating increases surface hardness and wear resistance, making this tool well-suited for ferrous and non-ferrous alloys. With a 6-inch overall length and a 40-degree helix angle, it delivers smooth chip evacuation and stable cutting performance. This tool is installed and used by machinists and CNC programmers in job shops, production facilities, and tool rooms.
This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills where a corner radius profile is required to produce rounded inside corners, blend radii, or improve surface finish on pocketed and contoured features. The single-end, center-cutting design allows plunge entry as well as conventional peripheral and slot milling. It is appropriate for medium to high-speed applications in steel, stainless, cast iron, aluminum, and similar machinable alloys. The long-length configuration provides additional reach for deep pockets and tall workpiece features where standard-length tooling cannot access the full cut depth.
Designed as a standard-shank replacement or new-installation end mill for CNC machining centers and manual mills accepting a 3/4-inch straight shank toolholder, collet chuck, or end mill holder.
Installation is performed by machinists using an appropriate 3/4-inch toolholder, collet, or shrink-fit holder rated for the intended spindle RPM and cutting load. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the control is in an idle or tool-change state before mounting or removing the tool. Inspect the shank and toolholder bore for chips or contamination before seating, as debris will affect runout and tool life. Follow the toolholder manufacturer's clamping torque specifications and observe machine guarding requirements during setup and operation.
