The ACCUPRO 12183621 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. It features a 3/4-inch cutting diameter, a 2-inch length of cut, and a 0.015-inch corner radius that reduces stress concentration at the tool nose and extends edge life. The micrograin carbide substrate and TiCN coating provide wear resistance and thermal stability at elevated cutting speeds. With 4 right-hand spiral flutes and a centercutting geometry, this tool handles both plunging and peripheral milling in a single setup. It is sold as a single-end tool and is intended for use by machinists and tooling professionals in production or job-shop environments.
This end mill is suited for finish and semi-finish milling applications where a controlled corner radius is required, such as pocket floors, slots, and contoured surfaces. The long-length configuration with a 6-inch overall length and 3/4-inch shank diameter makes it appropriate for setups requiring additional reach. Right-hand cutting direction is standard for conventional CNC milling center spindles. The TiCN coating performs well in cast iron, alloy steels, and hardened materials at moderate cutting parameters.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-application end mill for CNC machining centers and manual mills accepting a 3/4-inch straight shank in ER, side-lock, or shrink-fit toolholders.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician familiar with CNC or manual milling equipment. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool changer or quill is locked before inserting or removing the tool. Shank runout should be verified with a dial indicator after clamping to confirm concentricity within acceptable limits. Follow the tool manufacturer and machine builder guidelines for speeds, feeds, and depth of cut for the specific workpiece material.
