The ACCUPRO 12183466 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding machining environments. Built from micrograin solid carbide and coated with AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride), it handles hard materials and elevated cutting temperatures where high-speed steel tooling falls short. The 3/16 inch diameter cutter features a 0.015 inch corner radius that reduces stress concentration at the cutting edge, extending tool life and improving surface finish. With a 40-degree helix angle and 4 right-hand spiral flutes, it delivers efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. Machinists and CNC operators working in job shops, tool rooms, and production environments will find this end mill suited to profiling, slotting, and contouring operations.
This end mill is configured as a single-end, centercutting tool, meaning it can be fed directly into a workpiece for plunge entry as well as lateral passes. The 1 inch length of cut (LOC) and 4 inch overall length (OAL) make it appropriate for long-reach profiling and cavity work where a standard-length tool would not clear the workpiece. The 3/16 inch shank diameter matches the cutter diameter for straightforward collet or end mill holder setup. The long-length configuration is well suited to mold and die work, aerospace components, and precision part machining where reach and rigidity both matter.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement or standard tooling selection for 3/16 inch collets and end mill holders used in CNC machining centers, knee mills, and manual milling machines requiring a long-length corner radius end mill.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Secure the shank fully into a clean, properly sized collet or end mill holder and torque the retention mechanism per the toolholder manufacturer's specification. Inspect the collet bore and shank for chips or contamination before seating the tool. Follow all machine guarding and lockout/tagout procedures before changing tooling.
