The ACCUPRO 12183374 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. It features a 0.750 inch mill diameter, a 3 inch length of cut, and a 0.1250 inch corner radius that reduces stress concentration at the cutting edge and extends tool life in slotting and profiling operations. The TiCN coating adds surface hardness and lubricity, making it well suited for harder workpiece materials. With a 4-flute, right-hand spiral configuration and centercutting capability, this tool handles both plunge entry and lateral passes. Machinists and toolroom professionals select this end mill for applications that demand tight tolerances and consistent edge geometry on long-reach cuts.
This end mill is built for shops running CNC machining centers, vertical mills, and similar equipment where extra-long reach is required. The 6 inch overall length and 3/4 inch shank diameter make it appropriate for deep-cavity milling, mold work, and multi-axis profiling where shorter tooling cannot clear the workpiece or fixture. The micrograin carbide substrate supports the rigidity needed to maintain accuracy across the full 3 inch length of cut. It is a single-end tool intended for production and toolroom environments where repeatable surface finish and dimensional control are priorities.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers and manual vertical mills with a standard 3/4 inch collet or end mill holder. Consult machine spindle specifications and holder runout ratings before installation to confirm suitability for the intended depth and material.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following shop safety procedures. Power down and lock out the spindle before loading or removing tooling. Seat the shank fully in a properly sized collet or end mill holder and torque the retention hardware to the tool holder manufacturer's specification. Verify runout at the cutting end with a dial indicator before beginning production cuts.
