The ACCUPRO 12183258 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal fabrication, tool and die, and general machining applications. Built from micrograin carbide with a TiCN (titanium carbonitride) finish, this end mill delivers hard, wear-resistant cutting performance at elevated surface speeds. The 40-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and reduces cutting forces. At 4 inches overall length, it is classified as an extra-long reach tool, making it suitable for deep-pocket milling and cavity work where standard-length tools cannot reach. Machinists and CNC operators are the primary users.

This end mill is suited for milling steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and similar ferrous materials in both production and job shop environments. The centercutting geometry allows direct plunge entry into a workpiece without a pre-drilled pilot hole. Right-hand cut and right-hand spiral flute configuration are standard for conventional CNC milling spindles. Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down before inserting or removing the end mill from the holder. Seat the shank to the full recommended insertion depth in the tool holder and verify runout with a dial indicator before cutting. Do not exceed the rated length of cut when side milling, as extended overhang increases deflection risk and tool breakage.
