The ACCUPRO 12183143 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal and alloy workpieces. Built from micrograin solid carbide, it offers high rigidity and edge retention compared to HSS tooling. The 0.125 inch corner radius reduces stress concentrations at pocket floors and shoulders, extending part and tool life. A TiCN (titanium carbonitride) coating lowers friction and improves wear resistance in ferrous and non-ferrous cutting applications. With a 0.750 inch mill diameter, a 2.25 inch length of cut, and a 5 inch overall length, this is a long-series end mill suited to deeper cavity work that standard-length tools cannot reach.
This end mill fits standard CNC machining centers, vertical mills, and manual mills equipped with a 0.750 inch collet or end mill holder. The long LOC and single-end, centercutting geometry make it appropriate for plunge entry, side milling, and full-slot operations in steel, stainless, cast iron, and harder non-ferrous materials. Right-hand cutting direction and right-hand spiral fluting are standard for conventional and climb milling on most CNC and manual setups. It is sold as a single unit and is typically purchased by machinists, tool-and-die makers, and CNC programmers working in job shops or production environments.
Designed for use in 0.750 inch collet chucks or end mill holders on CNC machining centers and manual vertical mills. No specific OEM machine model compatibility was stated in the product data.
Installation and tool changes must be performed with the machine spindle fully stopped and the control in an e-stop or tool-change state. Secure the shank fully within the holder to the recommended minimum engagement depth per the holder manufacturer before tightening. Verify runout with a dial indicator after mounting, as excessive runout accelerates corner radius wear and degrades corner geometry. Feed, speed, and depth-of-cut parameters should be set per the material being cut and should not exceed the tool manufacturer recommendations for this diameter and coating combination.
