The ACCUPRO 12183132 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for high-accuracy milling operations in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Built from micrograin carbide, this tool delivers a 0.750 inch cutting diameter with a 2.250 inch length of cut and a 5.000 inch overall length. The 40-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and reduces cutting forces across the flute length. With four flutes and a spiral flute geometry, this end mill is suited for finishing and semi-finishing passes where surface quality and dimensional control are priorities. Licensed machinists and tool-and-die technicians are the primary users of this tool class.
This end mill fits standard 3/4 inch collets and tool holders on vertical machining centers, knee mills, and CNC milling machines. The long length-of-cut configuration supports applications requiring deep slot milling, shoulder milling, or profiling in confined features. The centercutting design allows plunge entry, adding flexibility in pocketing operations. It is well suited for job shops and production environments handling steel, aluminum, and similar workpiece materials where tight tolerances and consistent tool life are required.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement for standard 3/4 inch shank square end mill applications in CNC and manual milling setups using collet chucks, end mill holders, or shrink-fit tooling rated for a 0.750 inch shank diameter.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following the machine tool manufacturer's tooling specifications. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a locked-out state before changing tooling. Verify collet or holder runout with a dial indicator before committing to finish cuts, as excessive runout will accelerate tool wear and degrade surface finish. Do not exceed the tool's rated depth of cut or axial engagement without consulting established speeds and feeds data for the specific workpiece material.
