It carries a 0.3543-inch (9.00 mm) mill diameter with a 0.5512-inch (14.00 mm) length of cut and a 2-3/4-inch overall length. The micrograin carbide substrate paired with an AlTiN finish gives the tool enhanced heat and wear resistance at elevated cutting speeds. The 40-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and reduces cutting forces. This stub-length end mill is intended for use by machinists and tool-and-die professionals working in CNC machining centers and manual mills.
This end mill is suited for slotting, profiling, and side milling operations where a compact stub-length tool provides rigidity and minimizes deflection. The centercutting design allows for direct plunge entry into the workpiece. Right-hand cut and right-hand flute configuration follows standard CNC and manual milling conventions.
