The ACCUPRO 12182741 is a 4-flute solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, hardened steels, and difficult-to-machine alloys. It features an AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) coating that extends tool life at elevated cutting temperatures and improves wear resistance in dry or semi-dry machining environments. The 40-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. Micrograin carbide construction provides the edge hardness and rigidity needed for tight-tolerance work. This is a single-end, centercutting tool capable of plunge, slot, profile, and ramping operations. Machining centers and CNC mills are the primary platform.

This stub-length end mill is suited for short-reach milling applications where rigidity is a priority. The 9/64 inch diameter and 3/8 inch length of cut make it appropriate for narrow slot milling, small-feature profiling, and detail work in die and mold, aerospace component, and general precision machining environments.
