The ACCUPRO 12182723 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining applications. It features a 1/8 inch cutting diameter with a 0.045 inch corner radius, producing smooth, radiused edges on workpiece corners to reduce stress concentrations and improve surface finish. With 4 flutes and a right-hand spiral flute direction, this tool delivers efficient chip evacuation and stable cutting performance. The stub-length design provides added rigidity during cuts. This end mill is manufactured from micrograin solid carbide and carries a bright/uncoated finish, making it suitable for a range of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Machinists and CNC operators install and run this tool in vertical and horizontal milling machines and machining centers.
This end mill is suited for light-duty to medium-duty milling in job shops, tool rooms, and production machining environments. The stub length of cut and 1/8 inch shank diameter make it especially useful for small-feature work, slot milling, profiling, and corner-radius blending on dies, molds, and precision components. The centercutting design allows plunge entry directly into the workpiece. It is a single-end tool, meaning it is used from one cutting end only.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers, vertical mills, and manual milling machines accepting a 1/8 inch shank diameter toolholder or collet. Suitable as an OEM-style replacement or direct tooling selection for applications requiring a 1/8 inch diameter corner radius end mill with 0.045 inch radius.
This tool is installed by a machinist or CNC operator using a compatible collet or toolholder sized for a 1/8 inch shank. Ensure the toolholder is clean and free of debris before seating the shank to maintain runout tolerances. Confirm spindle speed and feed rates are appropriate for the workpiece material and cutting diameter before engaging the cut. Handle carbide tooling carefully to avoid chipping the cutting edges during setup and storage.
