The ACCUPRO 12182706 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in metalworking and machining applications. With a 0.0787 inch (2.00 mm) mill diameter and a 0.1575 inch (4.00 mm) length of cut, this stub-length tool is built for tight-tolerance work in shallow cavities and close-clearance setups. The micrograin carbide construction provides hardness and wear resistance suited to high-speed cutting in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Four spiral flutes at a 30-degree helix angle promote efficient chip evacuation and a smooth cutting action. The uncoated finish makes it straightforward to inspect for wear during use. Licensed machinists and CNC operators in precision shop environments are the primary installers and users of this tool.
This end mill is suited for slotting, profiling, and plunge cutting operations in stub-length setups where minimal overhang and maximum rigidity are required. The centercutting geometry allows direct plunge entry without a pre-drilled pilot hole. Right-hand cut and right-hand flute orientation make it compatible with standard spindle rotation on vertical and horizontal CNC machining centers and manual knee mills. The 0.1181 inch (3.00 mm) shank diameter fits collets and tool holders sized for that shank. It is appropriate for use in aluminum, brass, steel, and similar materials within the feed and speed parameters appropriate for its diameter class.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills equipped with collets or tool holders accepting a 0.1181 inch (3.00 mm) shank diameter. Suitable for standard right-hand spindle rotation.
This tool is installed and operated by machinists and CNC programmers in machine shop environments. Secure the shank fully within the collet or tool holder to the manufacturer-specified gauge length before operating. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe state before installing or removing the end mill. Verify feed rates and spindle speeds are appropriate for the 0.0787 inch diameter and the workpiece material before commencing the cut.
