The ACCUPRO 12182696 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining applications. The tool measures 0.0394 inches (1.00 mm) in diameter with a length of cut of 0.0787 inches (2.00 mm), making it well suited for fine-detail work in tight geometries. Its 4-flute, spiral-flute configuration paired with a 30-degree helix angle promotes chip evacuation and surface finish quality. The AlTiN coating provides heat and wear resistance for dry or semi-dry cutting in ferrous and hardened materials. Stub-length construction keeps the tool rigid, reducing deflection at small diameters. This end mill is installed and run by machinists and CNC programmers on vertical machining centers and similar equipment.
This end mill is intended for use in precision CNC milling environments where small-diameter cutting is required. Typical applications include slotting, profiling, and contouring in ferrous alloys, stainless steel, and similar hard materials. The centercutting geometry allows plunge entry in addition to peripheral cuts. The right-hand cut and right-hand flute configuration is standard for conventional CNC spindles. The stub length and 3.00 mm shank diameter are appropriate for high-speed, close-tolerance work where tool rigidity is critical.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use tooling for CNC vertical machining centers and milling machines accepting a 3.00 mm shank diameter. Suitable for applications within the 0.0000 to 0.1000 inch length-of-cut range.
This end mill is installed by qualified machinists or CNC programmers. Ensure the machine spindle is fully powered down and locked out before changing tooling. Use an appropriate collet or tool holder matched to the 3.00 mm shank diameter and verify runout before engaging the cut. Do not exceed recommended depth-of-cut or feed rates for the workpiece material, as small-diameter carbide tooling is susceptible to breakage under excessive load.
