The ACCUPRO 12182662 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal fabrication and machining environments. It features a 3/4 inch diameter, a 1-1/2 inch length of cut, and a 0.06 inch corner radius that reduces stress concentration at the cutting edge and extends tool life in high-feed applications. The 40-degree helix angle promotes smooth chip evacuation and reduces cutting forces. With four flutes and a bright/uncoated finish, this end mill is suited for use in ferrous and non-ferrous materials where a sharp, unaltered edge geometry is required. It is installed and operated by machinists and CNC programmers working in job shops, aerospace, and general manufacturing.
This end mill is used in CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers for profiling, slotting, and contouring passes where a radiused corner is specified on the finished part. The single-end, centercutting design allows both plunge entry and peripheral cuts. The 3/4 inch shank diameter fits standard ER collet chucks, end mill holders, and shrink-fit toolholders common in production environments. The right-hand cutting direction and right-hand flute spiral are the standard configuration for conventional and climb milling on typical CNC setups.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement or standard tooling selection for CNC machining centers accepting 3/4 inch shank end mills in ER collet, end mill holder, or shrink-fit toolholding systems.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool path program is verified before inserting the end mill into the toolholder. Confirm shank engagement meets the minimum insertion depth recommended for the holder type to prevent pullout under load. Inspect the collet or holder bore for runout before tightening, as excessive runout reduces tool life and surface finish quality.
