The ACCUPRO 12182661 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-precision milling operations in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. It features a 3/4-inch cutting diameter, a 1-1/2-inch length of cut (1.7500 inches decimal), and a 0.0450-inch corner radius that reduces stress concentration at part edges and extends tool life in contour and profile milling. The 40-degree helix angle promotes smooth chip evacuation and improves surface finish. Four right-hand spiral flutes provide efficient material removal. This is a single-end, centercutting tool, meaning it can be fed axially as well as radially. Machinists, tool-and-die shops, and CNC operators are the primary users of this tool.
This end mill is suited for general-purpose and finishing applications including profiling, slotting, and contouring in a CNC machining center or manual mill. The bright/uncoated finish makes it a straightforward choice for aluminum, brass, plastics, and light steels where coating buildup is not desired. The 3/4-inch shank diameter fits standard ER collet chucks, end mill holders, and Weldon-style holders commonly found on vertical machining centers. The micrograin carbide grade provides a balance of hardness and toughness for stable cutting across a range of workpiece materials.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement or standard tooling selection for CNC machining centers and manual mills accepting a 3/4-inch shank diameter in ER collet chucks or end mill holders.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and machine is powered down or in an e-stop state before changing tooling. Seat the shank to the full recommended gauge depth in the holder to prevent pullout under cutting loads. Verify runout with a dial indicator after tool installation and before cutting to protect both the tool and the workpiece.
