The ACCUPRO 12182630 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining environments. It features a 5/8 inch diameter with a 1/8 inch corner radius and a 1-1/4 inch length of cut, making it well suited for profiling, slotting, and contouring applications where blended corner geometry is required. The TiCN coating provides elevated surface hardness and improved wear resistance compared to uncoated carbide. This is a single-end, center-cutting tool with a 4-flute spiral configuration and right-hand cutting direction. It is typically installed and used by machinists, tool-and-die technicians, and CNC operators working in precision machine shops.
This end mill is suited for use in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines operating on ferrous and non-ferrous metals including steel alloys, stainless steel, and cast iron. The micrograin carbide substrate supports consistent edge retention during interrupted cuts and high-feed passes. With a 3-1/2 inch overall length and a 5/8 inch shank diameter, it fits standard ER and straight-bore collet systems commonly found in vertical and horizontal machining centers. No extended reach configuration is present, keeping the tool compact and reducing deflection in tight-tolerance work.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit tooling option for standard 5/8 inch straight-bore and collet-style tool holders used in CNC and manual milling machines.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Ensure the machine spindle is fully powered down and at rest before inserting or removing the tool from the collet or tool holder. Verify runout and tool projection with a dial indicator before beginning any cutting operation. Do not exceed the tool's rated depth of cut or feed rate for the workpiece material being machined.
