The ACCUPRO 12182527 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in metalworking and machining applications. With a 0.3543-inch (9.00 mm) mill diameter and a 0.9843-inch (25.00 mm) length of cut, this tool handles slot milling, profile milling, and shoulder cutting in a wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The micrograin carbide substrate provides the hardness and wear resistance needed for demanding production environments. A TiCN coating enhances surface hardness and reduces friction at the cutting edge. This end mill is installed and operated by machinists and CNC programmers working on vertical and horizontal machining centers.
This end mill is suited for regular-length milling operations in job shops, tool rooms, and production machining environments. The 40-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action, making it appropriate for both roughing and finishing passes in steel, stainless, cast iron, and similar materials. The centercutting geometry allows direct plunge entry into the workpiece. With a 10.00 mm (0.3937-inch) shank diameter and 2-3/4-inch overall length, it fits standard ER collet chucks and end mill holders commonly found on CNC and manual milling equipment.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard tooling option for CNC and manual milling machines accepting a 10.00 mm shank diameter end mill via ER collet chuck, shrink-fit holder, or equivalent end mill toolholder.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following the machine tool manufacturer's toolholding specifications. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in an e-stop or lockout/tagout state before loading or removing the end mill. Seat the shank fully to the minimum clamping depth recommended for the toolholder to prevent pullout under cutting loads. Verify runout with a dial indicator after installation before beginning any cut.
