The ACCUPRO 12182434 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal, composites, and hard materials. It features a 7/64 inch (0.1094 inch decimal) cutting diameter, a 3/8 inch length of cut, and a 1/8 inch shank diameter with an overall length of 1.5 inches. The four-flute, right-hand spiral geometry operates at a 40-degree helix angle, and the TiCN coating adds surface hardness and lubricity to extend tool life in abrasive materials. Micrograin carbide substrate supports edge integrity at higher feed rates. Installed by machinists and tool-and-die professionals on CNC mills and manual milling machines.
This end mill is suited for slotting, profiling, and plunge cuts in ferrous and non-ferrous materials where tight tolerances are required. The centercutting design allows direct plunge entry without a pre-drilled hole. The regular-length geometry fits standard toolholders and collet chucks taking a 1/8 inch shank. Typical applications include mold work, fixture fabrication, and precision part machining where a small-diameter four-flute carbide tool is specified.

Installation and tool changes should be performed by a qualified machinist with the machine powered down and the spindle locked. Ensure the collet or toolholder is clean and free of debris before seating the shank. Verify shank runout with a dial indicator after clamping to confirm concentricity. Follow the machine and toolholder manufacturer torque guidelines when securing the collet nut.
