The ACCUPRO 12182405 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision metal removal in demanding machining applications. With a 0.1575 inch (4.00 mm) mill diameter and a 0.5512 inch (14.00 mm) length of cut, this single-end tool delivers accurate, repeatable results in tight-tolerance work. The 4-flute geometry combined with a 40-degree helix and spiral flute design promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. An AlTiN finish provides elevated heat resistance and extended tool life in ferrous and hard alloy materials. Centercutting capability allows for direct plunge entry without a pre-drilled hole, adding versatility to the application. Installed by machinists and CNC operators in production and job-shop environments.
This end mill suits general-purpose milling operations including slotting, profiling, and peripheral cuts in ferrous metals, alloy steels, and similar hard materials where AlTiN coating performance is an advantage. The 4.00 mm shank diameter and 50.00 mm overall length make it compatible with standard collet systems used on CNC machining centers and manual knee mills. Right-hand cut and right-hand flute orientation follow standard tooling conventions. The micrograin carbide substrate supports rigidity and wear resistance in both roughing and finishing passes.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard tooling option for CNC machining centers, vertical mills, and manual milling machines accepting a 4.00 mm (0.1575 inch) shank diameter collet or tool holder.
This tool is installed by qualified machinists or CNC setup technicians. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before loading or removing the end mill from the collet or tool holder. Verify collet size matches the 4.00 mm shank diameter and that runout is within acceptable tolerance before beginning a cut. Follow the machine manufacturer and tooling guidelines for appropriate feed rates and speeds based on workpiece material.
