The ACCUPRO 12182339 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in a wide range of metalworking and machining applications. With a 0.0787 inch (2.00 mm) mill diameter and a 0.315 inch (8.00 mm) length of cut, this tool is built for fine detail work in tight geometries. The AlTiN coating improves heat resistance and extends tool life in ferrous and high-temperature alloy materials. A 30-degree helix angle and spiral flute geometry promote efficient chip evacuation and reduced cutting forces. Right-hand cut and right-hand flute orientation follow standard CNC and manual milling conventions. The centercutting design allows plunge entry directly into the workpiece. This end mill is installed and run by machining professionals and toolroom technicians.
This end mill is suited for use on CNC machining centers, vertical mills, and toolroom-grade knee mills. Its 0.0787 inch diameter makes it appropriate for slotting, profiling, and contouring in small-feature work such as mold cavities, die work, and precision aerospace or medical components. The micrograin carbide substrate supports higher surface speeds and feeds compared to standard carbide grades. With a 3.00 mm shank diameter and 38.00 mm overall length, the tool fits standard collets and toolholders sized for this shank class.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard tooling option for CNC machining centers and manual mills accepting a 3.00 mm shank diameter in standard collet or toolholder systems.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down or in a safe state before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully and evenly in the collet or toolholder and torque the retention nut per the toolholder manufacturer specifications. Verify runout with an indicator after installation before beginning a cut, as excessive runout at this diameter will significantly reduce tool life and surface finish quality.
