The ACCUPRO 12182326 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in tight-tolerance applications. With a 3/64 inch (0.0469 inch) cutting diameter and a 9/64 inch length of cut, it is built for small-feature work including slots, pockets, and profiling passes in hardened or abrasive materials. The micrograin carbide substrate pairs with a TiCN (titanium carbonitride) coating to extend tool life under demanding cutting conditions. A 30-degree right-hand spiral flute geometry promotes efficient chip evacuation and reduces deflection. The centercutting design allows plunge entry. This end mill is used by machinists and toolroom professionals working on CNC machining centers and precision manual mills.
This end mill suits small-part production and detailed cavity work in aerospace, medical device, die-and-mold, and precision job shop environments. Its 1/8 inch shank diameter fits standard collets and end mill holders on CNC vertical machining centers and manual mills. The regular-length configuration makes it a dependable choice for finishing and semi-finishing passes where rigidity and dimensional accuracy are required. Four flutes provide a good balance of chip room and surface finish at typical small-diameter feed rates.
Designed for use in standard 1/8 inch collets and end mill holders on CNC and manual milling machines. Suitable for milling ferrous and non-ferrous metals, hardened steels, and other abrasive workpiece materials where TiCN coating provides performance advantage.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following the machine tool manufacturer torque and runout specifications for the collet or holder system in use. Ensure the spindle and tool holder are clean and free of chips before seating the shank. Verify radial runout at the tip before starting a production cut, as runout has an outsized effect at small diameters. Never exceed the recommended depth of cut or feed rate for the workpiece material and tool diameter combination.
