The ACCUPRO 12182210 is a 3-flute solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Built from micrograin carbide stock and finished with an AlTiN coating, it handles elevated cutting temperatures and abrasive workpieces that would degrade lesser tooling. The 40-degree spiral helix promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. At 3/16 inch in diameter with a 3/4 inch length of cut, this is a small-diameter tool suited for tight-tolerance slot milling, profiling, and contouring where rigidity and finish quality matter. Installation requires a compatible collet or end mill holder sized for the 3/16 inch shank. Licensed machinists, tool-and-die makers, and precision CNC operators are the primary users.
This end mill is suited for CNC machining centers and manual knee mills running ferrous alloys, stainless, aluminum, and hardened materials where an AlTiN coating provides thermal protection. The long-length designation gives additional reach for deeper pockets and stepped features without requiring a longer-reach holder. The centercutting geometry allows plunge entry as well as conventional peripheral and slot cutting. Right-hand cut and right-hand flute configuration matches standard spindle rotation on most vertical machining centers.
Designed as a standard OEM-style solid carbide square end mill compatible with 3/16 inch collets, shrink-fit holders, and end mill holders used on CNC vertical machining centers and manual mills.
This tool is installed by machinists using a properly sized 3/16 inch collet or end mill holder; confirm runout before cutting. Verify spindle speed and feed rate against manufacturer cutting data for the specific workpiece material and AlTiN-coated carbide tooling. Inspect the cutting edges under magnification before use; do not run chipped or damaged tooling. Power down and lock out the spindle before changing or adjusting tooling.
