It features a 3/8-inch diameter, a 0.030-inch corner radius, and a TiCN (Titanium Carbonitride) coating that improves wear resistance and extends tool life in abrasive materials. The micrograin carbide substrate provides rigidity and edge retention at elevated cutting speeds. With 3 flutes and a 40-degree helix angle, this end mill promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth surface finishes. It is a single-end, centercutting tool, meaning it can plunge directly into a workpiece as well as perform peripheral milling passes.
