It measures 0.2969 inches (19/64 inch) in diameter with a 3/4-inch length of cut and a 2-1/2-inch overall length. The 5/16-inch shank accepts standard collet chucks and end mill holders. Three spiral flutes with a 40-degree helix angle promote efficient chip evacuation and reduce cutting forces. A TiCN (Titanium Carbonitride) coating improves wear resistance and surface hardness compared to uncoated carbide.
