The ACCUPRO 12181615 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining applications. With a 0.1969 inch (5.00 mm) mill diameter and a 0.3937 inch (10.00 mm) length of cut, this stub-length tool is built for rigidity and accurate finishing cuts. The micrograin carbide construction supports higher speeds and longer tool life compared to standard carbide grades. A 40-degree helix angle and spiral flute geometry promote efficient chip evacuation, while the TiCN coating improves surface hardness and reduces heat buildup at the cutting edge. Centercutting capability allows both plunge and peripheral milling. This tool is intended for use by machinists and CNC operators working in production or job-shop environments.
This end mill is suited for milling steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and similar ferrous materials where a TiCN-coated micrograin carbide tool is appropriate. The 6.00 mm shank diameter and 63.00 mm overall length make it compatible with standard collet and end mill holders. The stub-length configuration provides added stiffness for slot milling, shoulder milling, and finish profiling in tight setups or shallow-reach applications. Right-hand cut and right-hand flute orientation are standard for conventional CNC machining center setups.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-application solid carbide square end mill for use in standard collet chucks, shrink-fit holders, and end mill holders accepting a 6.00 mm shank diameter.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before inserting or removing the tool from the holder. Verify collet or holder bore matches the 6.00 mm shank diameter and that runout is within acceptable tolerance before beginning a cut. Follow the machine manufacturer and tooling manufacturer guidelines for appropriate feeds, speeds, and depth of cut for the workpiece material.
